ABOUT ME
I’m a PhD candidate in the SLANG lab at UMass, Amherst, advised by Brendan O'Connor. My research interests are pretraining and tokenization for low-resource and multilingual settings, with a special focus on Latin.

I attended undergrad at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, where I earned my BS in Computer Science and my BA in Greek and Roman Studies. I worked with Ross Sowell researching privacy, trust, and explainability in HRI.
